Around 2 years into my college career I almost abandoned school and left for the CIA. That’s right, the Culinary Institute of America. I’ve always been fascinated with food and even in college I would spend $7 on a small piece of gorgonzola when my roomates were gorging themselves on .99 burritos from Taco Villa. Food brings people together. It is a powerful thing. When I began making my transition to a healthier life, food was front and center as always, so I began immediately experimenting with flavor combinations and new recipes. I will be post recipes more often and I hope they help you find pleasure and I pray you can sit down with family and friends and enjoy a meal together, talk of the goodness around you and soak in the beauty of life.
Here’s a good start.
